Georgian style trophy with nicely cast handles and a gold-plated interior. The removable lid is attractively embossed with a leaf decoration and has an acorn finial. The acorn is considered to be an emblem of good luck, prosperity, youthfulness and power; and during the Norman Conquest, the English carried dried acorns to protect themselves from the brutalities of the day.

The body of the silver trophy is plain which would allow an inscription to be engraved on both sides making this an ideal presentation piece for an award or sporting event.
