Jeremy Langford

Jeremy has earned international acclaim as a glass artist and sculptor and the recent recipient of the prestigious THEA Award from Disney International for his work in the new Generations Center next to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. In this subterranean site, he created nine monumental glass sculptures which comprise one of the largest glass art installations in the world. He is currently creating what is to be the world's largest glass sculpture in the lobby of the new Ashd od Medical Center in Israel. Some other notable projects are in Ben Gurion International Airport, The British Museum and Trump Towers, Florida.

De Vecchi Milano was founded in 1935 by Piero De Vecchi, a sculptor and engraver, who became part of the futuristic movement at a very early date. In fact, his T8 candlestick designed in 1947 is still one of De Vecchi’s most popular pieces today. His son Gabriele, a leading artist in the field of programmed and kinetic art, is at the helm today. De Vecchi’s work is on view at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York as well as a number of other important museums around the world.

In the early 20th century this family-run business, founded in London in 1934 by a Mr Brenner to produce his patent propelling pencils, developed the unique design of carrying twelve three inch leads inside the barrel, and it is from this feature that the name evolved – Yard-O-Led.
