A pair of George III silver candlesticks made by the celebrated silversmith John Schofield, one of the prominent silversmiths working in London at the end of the 18th Century. These candlesticks are cast silver with fluted and gadroon decorations and each piece is hallmarked with the one date and maker. The sconces are removable for ease of cleaning.
