This is a magnificent set of four superb quality George III cast silver candlesticks, decorated with swirling flutes and scroll detail. These silver candlesticks are all hallmarked with the same date and maker and the marks are perfectly crisp, making everything about this suite of antique silver candlesticks outstanding.
Each bears the crest of the Bennet family with the motto DE BON VOULOIR SERVIR LE ROY - to serve the king with goodwill, and the sconces are removable to make cleaning easier.
This is, without doubt, one of the finest sets of George III silver candlesticks we have owned.
