Hand-forged Victorian silver cutlery set in the Prince's pattern for 24 people, all fitted in its original wooden canteen. Prince's pattern was first produced around 1860 and its simple scroll and leaf border is typical of the mid-Victorian style.

This silver cutlery service was made by Francis Higgins II of London, 1876-1878 unless otherwise indicated
