Modelled as three conjoined salmon on a hexagonal hardstone base, this silver sculpture bears a plaque inscribed The Leaping Salmon, David Wynne. It is accompanied by the original certificate in its House of Hardy envelope denoting that that the sculpture was probably purchased through House of Hardy in Pall Mall, London. The model is accompanied by a wooden travel case.
One of David Wynne's most famous sculptures is the Boy with Dolphin which stands in Cheyne Walk overlooking the River Thames in London.
