First quality, antique, French silver and cut crystal rose bowl by Alphonse Debain of Paris. The crystal is cut with a finely detailed, interlocking, scrolled leaf design and the silver rim features an apron of foliage dripping over the rim. The silver base, with its stepped spreading form, shows off an apron of fanned acanthus leaves and all the silver mounts are 1st quality 950 silver standard. Apart from being a beautiful piece in its own right, this antique bowl could equally also be used to service fruit or berries.
