Designed and made by Derek Elliott for the Guild of handicrafts, this stylish modern silver pepper mill is of a substantial gauge of silver and simply decorated with inverted ovoid forms around the rim. the finial is detachable and the Cole & Mason movement grinds most effectively.
Derek Elliot was born in 1963 and apprenticed to David Hart in 1982. He became a Freeman of the Goldsmiths' Company in the traditional way in 1987 and registered his own maker's mark the same year.
