Fine antique, Edwardian, cast and hand chased hunting English spaniel mounted on a nephrite jade base (65mm x 75mm (2½" x 3"). The maker, William Edward Hurcomb was a silversmith of note who specialised in model animals and novelty pepperettes, and his modelling of this dog is an excellent rendition featured in a lifelike pose.
