Louise Sorrell

Louise Sorrell began her engraving career in 2015 as a Goldsmiths' Company Apprenticeship with Sam James Ltd, based at the Goldsmiths' Centre. After successful completion of her masterpiece - a meticulously engraved silver vase which depicted a hedgerow scene in four seasons (pictured) - Louise was awarded Freedom of the Goldsmiths' Company and is now a member. Louise's masterpiece went on to impress judges at the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council Awards 2019, receiving multiple prizes including the Junior Award.
