An exceptional antique Edwardian-period silver collapsible beaker, engraved on the cover with a family crest and motto - Aut vincere aut mori which translates to conquer or die.

This beaker is made up of 15 rings - many more rings than is usual - making it taller and more elegant in form than other collapsible silver beakers of this type. It is also one of the few collapsible beakers that does not leak! The interior of the beaker and its lid are both gilded.
