This wonderful pair of antique silver saucepans was made in 1913 by Sydney Harman of London and features a subtle spot-hammered finish. Each pan was made entirely by hand, with a removable lid and tapering barrel handle. This is a particularly lovely quality and rare item; possibly unique.

Each saucepan has a capacity of 600ml-650ml, slightly more than a pint.

Harman & Co was an important London retailer and was bought the famous Lambert & Co during the First World War. Sydney Bellamy Harman died in 1920 and his wife, Jean Shannon Harman took over the running of the company.
