A late-Victorian silver gallery tray with finely detailed hand engraved decorations across the surface. Mounted on six cast supports and decorated with scroll and leaf decorations, the silver tray's gallery border is hand-fretted and also hand engraved. There is a presentation shield in the centre, beautifully hand-engraved with the following inscription:

Presented to
Clarke Aspinall Esquire
by a large number of the Parishioners
of Bebington
as a mark of their appreciation of
his valuable services during the long period
of Twenty Five Years
as a Churchwarden of the
Parish Church of St Andrew
June1880

The tray is in excellent and original condition and presented in its original fitted wooden presentation case.
