Rare and wonderful silver equestrian desk clock by the celebrated silversmith E H Stockwell, known for his finely made silver pieces. With several horse related motifs, the silver drum casing is mounted on two silver hooves with crossed spur supports between them, while the top of the clock is surmounted by further equestrian motifs - a pair of stirrups resting on a snaffle bit.

The clock's white enamel face is in perfect condition and the 8-day movement inside is in good working order.
