An unusual, highly decorative and wonderful quality antique silver photograph frame with hinged door to the conceal the picture. The silver is richly adorned with openwork decoration of scrolls, flowers and various mythical figures, and is supported by its original wood frame and easel. We've not seen a photograph frame like this before.
The portrait photograph aperture will hold a 135mm x 85mm (5½" x 3½") photograph.
