Although this elegant 1930s sterling silver serving tray is based on a George II style from the 1740s, its straight-sided oblong form with scalloped corners and stepped edges could be contemporaneous with designs of the Art Deco era in the early part of the 20th century. The two elegant handles follow the lines of the tray itself to create a continuous form.
Perfect for serving drinks or cocktails this stylish tray would be equally at home in a traditional setting, or with Art Deco or contemporary styling. A three- or four-piece tea service would also fit nicely.
