Antique silver gilt bowl of exceptional quality. The hexagonal shaped bowl is hand chased in fine, and high relief on each panel exotic birds, foliage and floral-work including chrysanthemums, buds and flower-heads, all set against a mottled background.
The flared base is of openwork, cast construction, also decorated with flowers foliage and chrysanthemums. The rim has chrysanthemum flower-heads on each corner, geometric openwork sections and panels each set with a curling dragon.
