A beautiful cylindrical, first standard, French silver perfume case whose body is decorated with applied bouquets, ribboned floral swags and husked bands on a linear dotted ground, and beaded husk borders. The cover to this silver canister opens to reveal four silver-gilt-mounted glass perfume bottles, each engraved with floral swags and all in excellent order. The interior of the case is gilded.
Rather evocatively, each bottle has the remains of an unidentified individual perfume.
