Pair of silver pepper grinding mills of exceptional quality, made by Asprey's workshop to resemble early 18th century pepper casters but with a heavy gauge grinder inside. The octagonal bodies are of a very heavy gauge of silver and the octagonal domed and pierced covers are hand engraved with a crosshatch pattern.
