Pair of highly decorative antique silver-plated wine bottle coasters with handmade wirework frames and a rope pattern border. They were made by Atkin Brothers which was known for producing goods of an exceptional quality, and the pair of coasters was retailed by Leuchars & Son, 2 Rue de la Paix, Paris.
They will hold all standard wine bottles and some decanters.
Given the intricate basket weave, the coasters have been lacquered to eliminate the need for polishing.
