Inverted pear-shaped, antique, cut glass claret jug with plain sterling silver mounts and an elegant swan-neck silver handle. The lower part of the crystal body has been finely cut with a faceted pattern, while the upper section includes swag decorations. The hinged lid is surmounted by a scrolled wirework thumbpiece.
